A new Research Advisory Committee of ICAR-IIHR for three years effective from 7.2.2021 was constituted as per the ICAR order F.No.HS 7-6/2020-1A.V dated 19th Feb, 2021. The constitution of the committee is as follows:

An introductory meeting of all the members was scheduled on 11th Aug, 2021 at 3.00 pm, for a preliminary interaction among the committee members through Zoom. All Heads of Divisions /Regional stations, Nodal officer and members of PME also joined the meeting.
Director, IIHR welcomed the committee members and the meeting started with ICAR and IIHR Songs, Introductory video and Success stories of IIHR. Later, all Heads briefly introduced the manpower, research themes and achievements of their divisions/ stations. All members of RAC also presented their views and suggestions regarding the research programs being carried out at IIHR. Dr Vikramaditya Pandey, ADG (HS-1) expressed his support for the institute. Dr DP Ray, Chairman of RAC appreciated the work being carried out and also presented his vision for the Institute. The committee decided to meet during last week of October, 2021 for conduct of 26th RAC meeting and an in-depth review of research programs at IIHR. The meeting ended with Vote of thanks by Dr TS Aghora, Nodal Officer, PME.
