- Germplasm enrichment of Specialty flowers like Heliconia, Aromatic crops,Cut-foliages and filler crops.
- Conservation, documentation and cataloguing of germplasm of ornamental crops like Jasmines, Crossandra, Marigold, Coleus, Caladiums, Ferns etc. of Western Ghats.
- Standardization of production technologies for open field crops like Jasmine, Crossandra, Marigold, Gladiolus, Tuberose for coastal humid conditions
- Standardized production technologies for high value flower crops like Lilium and Gerbera under polyhouse and Anthurium and Orchids under shadenet house for coastal humid conditions.
- Value addition techniques like dry flower technology, tinting technology in tuberose and gypsophila, potpourri production and post-harvest technology for Lilium and Heliconia.
- Recommendation of suitable foliage ornamentals for Vertical gardening based on APTI for inclusion of ornamentals having pollution mitigating ability in Vertical gardening
- Novel and innovative technology for Vertical farming of Lilium.
