I joined ICAR during December 1999 being posted at ICAR-IIR, Bangalore with Project Coordinator (Fruits) Unit as Scientist in Computer Applications in Agriculture. I completed PhD in Bioinformatics applications from Kuvempu University, Shivamoga (2016). I currently work in the Division of Social Sciences & Training at IIHR. My primary area of research is undertaking research projects funded by Main Institute in developing computer applications in Horticulture crops;  Principal Investigator in Development of  Decision Support System for Horticultural Crops. I have associated with External projects funded by ICAR, IASRI as Co - Principal Investigator; Co-PI of AGROWEB Project for IIHR center: A NAIP project (World Bank funded project) for Digital dissemination system for agricultural research. Co-PI in CAB-In Network project (Centre for Agricultural Bioinformatics).
