As part of Swachhta Pakhwada, an awareness campaign was organised by MGMG team No. 10 in the field of Mr. Subramani at Shivakote village on 27.10.2021. The team No. 10 of MGMG comprises of Dr. R Venkattakumar, Dr. R Venugopalan, Dr K Padmini and Dr. Sridhar Gutam arranged this programme. Dr. R Venkattakumar extended a warm welcome to all the scientists and farmers. Dr. D Kalaivanan demonstrated composting of biomass from the residues in the field, using "Arka decomposer." A brief talk on canopy management of Sapota was delivered by Dr. Senthil Kumar. Further, surface soil sampling method was demonstrated by Dr. D Kalaivanan to enable the farmers to collect soil sample in scientific way for soil testing. A group of 20 farmers and farm women participated in this programme.
