Objective: 

 

  1. Identification of variability in polyembryonic varieties for germplasm lines with  high proportion of  nucellar embryony and other desirable characters.
  2. Identification of zygotic and nucellar seedlings using SSR markers.

Achievements: 

SSR markers are used to identifying zygotic seedling by comparing the DNA profiles of all seedlings with that of the mother plant. The primers that have shown polymorphism for identifying the seedlings of Moreh have to be validated.
