Farmer's Day was organized in collaboration with the Agriculture Department, Tumakuru. Zilla Panchyat Member Sri Huchhaiah Udigere, Smt. Lakshamm President Grama Panchyat Hirehalli presided over the function. Dept of Agriculture,ADA,AO,Bharathiya Kisan Sanga members and progressive farmers from Udigere Hobli Tumkuru Taluk paticipated in the programme.Six farmers Sri Basavaraju, Sri Chethan, Sri Ananthamurthy, Sri Shivakumar and Sri Suresh were felicitated during the programme and also shared their experience in the field of Agriculture and Horticulture. 78 farmers participated in the program. The programme was coordinated by Mr.Jagadish KN ACTO/ SMSAgril.Extension. Mr.Prasanth JM Horticulture and Dr. Hanumanthegowda Plant Protection ACTO/SMS and Other staff members participated in the programme.
