ICAR-Indian Institute of Horticultural Research (IIHR) participated in exhibition of awarding of Vijaya Karnataka's Super Star farmers programme during 3rd March, 2022, at Dibbur, near Yelahanka, Bangalore rural. It was an exhibition on Horticulture, Health camp of Ministry of Ayush, Farm machinery and Agril. Implements, Livestock and products of Self Help Groups, facilitating interaction between the researchers and farmers.
ICAR-IIHR participated in the exhibition and displayed the advanced technologies of ICAR-IIHR. Technologies pertaining to vegetables, ornamental crops, integrated crop management of horticulture crops, post-harvest technologies and technologies of ATIC were displayed through live specimens and literature etc. for the benefit of the visitors. ICAR-IIHR stall attracted more than 1000 farmers, students, officials and media persons from nearby villages. This programme was coordinated by Dr T M Reddy, and Mr. V.Sashi kumar assisted in organising exhibition from Division of Social Sciences and Training, ICAR-IIHR.
