10th Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) Meeting of ICAR-KVK, Hirehalli was organised on 10th March, 2021 at KVK Campus. Dr.M.R. Dinesh, Director, IIHR, Chairman of SAC, Dr.Byregowda, D.E., UAS Bengaluru, Dr.Niranjana Murthy, ADR, UAS Bengaluru, Smt. Keerthi Prabha, DDM, NABARD Tumakuru, Dr.Mallikarjuna Hanji, Nodal Officer, ATARI and other members attended the programme. Meeting started with the introductory remarks of the Chairman. Later Head of KVK, Dr Loganandhan presented the action taken report of the last year SAC recommendations along with other activities of progress for the year 2019 and 2020. Other SMS’s also presented their OFT and FLD details. Interaction among the participants followed and suggestions from them and experts were also noted down. Later in the event, all the guests gave their remarks followed by the concluding remarks from the Chairman. Extension publications (On Mushroom recipes and Arka Borer Control) and new Seed pockets were released by them. Farmer Sri. Rudrayya was felicitated by the guests. The event was concluded by Vote of thanks followed by lunch. About 50 members, from Line Departments, NGOs, FPOs and farmers, took part in the event.
